No Harden, No Problem… Brooklyn takes on a tough Philly team in a matinee affair.
No James Harden, no problem for Philadelphia. They’ve been excellent this season with a 9-3 record, good for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. On the other side, it’s another tough one for the banged-up crew in Brooklyn, who most recently suffered a 122-115 loss to Miami.
WHO: Philadelphia 76ers (9-3) at Brooklyn Nets (6-6)
WHEN: 3:00 PM ET
WHERE: YES Network (TV); WFAN-FM (Radio)
***
BK Injuries: No Ben Simmons or Cam Thomas. Dennis Smith Jr is questionable with lower back soreness (as of this writing).
76ers Injuries: Kelly Oubre is out due to a fractured rib he suffered when he got hit by a car.
The Game: “Nic Claxton gets to see his old nemesis for the first time this season. Joel Embiid has been a monster on the interior and is looking to build on his MVP season. He’s adapted well to new head coach Nick Nurse and is averaging a career best six assists a night. The big fella is an awesome passer from the elbows, but when he’s on the move, he forces defenders to collapse on him, which opens the rest of the court up for his teammates…”
