We’ll be tracking all Nets rumors and action here.

It’s time for the NBA to pay the Brooklyn piper — the first of many installments due over the next handful of years. We’ll be tracking social media and updating all the latest rumors and action here.

It was exactly a year ago today when the Nets agreed to trade Mikal Bridges to the Knicks — the same moment every Brooklyn Nets fan open a sharpie marker and circled June 25, 2025 on their calendar.

It’s something they honestly should have done after the Kevin Durant trade a year prior, but nobody wanted to admit it back then.

Between those moves, the Nets enriched their future at the expense of the present. It’s something many NBA teams have done before, but not the Nets, at least not recently. That’s what made it so foreign. That’s what makes tonight so special. That “future” has become the present, and it’s and understatement to say people are excited to cash in. Let the fun begin.

Follow below for updates:

  • June 25, 11:15 ET: Right after Saraf, the Nets took Danny Wolf at No. 27 out of Michigan University. With this pick, Brooklyn breaks a record for the most picks ever taken in a first round with five.
  • June 25, 11:09 ET: Brooklyn’s fourth pick of the night is Ben Saraf out of Israel at No. 26. Bobby Marks referred to him an Israeli version of D’Angelo Russell.
  • June 25, 10:43 ET: Brooklyn’s third pick of the night is North Carolina wing Drake Powell at No. 22. This is the pick they acquired yesterday as part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade, so he technically won’t convey to the Nets until the July 6th.

The Brooklyn Nets have selected Drake Powell with the No. 22 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

The Nets are keeping this pick, their third first rounder of the night.

  • June 25, 10:22 ET: With their second pick of the evening, Brooklyn took guard Nolan Traoré out of France. We know Brooklyn’s been scouting him for some time based on their SCOUT series. While a point guard like Denim, Traoré is quicker and more athletic.

  • June 25, 9:22 ET: Erik Slater of ClutchPoints reported pregame that there was “a fair amount of smoke” linking the Nets to Cedric Coward. Well, it was has been extinguished, with the Portland Trail Blazers taking the Washington State wing a No. 11.

Coward goes to the Trail Blazers at 11th overall. https://t.co/AI4KnlKS8g

  • June 25, 9:03 ET: With their first lottery pick in 15 years, the Nets select Egor Denim out of BYU at No. 8 overall. Khaman Maluach was next up on Jay Bilas’ board, but the Nets took things in another direction.

Sources tell NetsDaily ex-Net Andrei Kirilenko strongly endorsed Denim as a prospect. While the shot and handle need work, he’s been referred to by many as one of the draft’s best passers. Here’s what we can only hope is the first of many valuable signatures from him.

  • June 25, 8:41 PM ET: The dream of a second New Jersey-to-Brooklyn migration is dead. As expected, the San Antonio Spurs selected Dylan Harper at No. 2 overall. Then, unexpectedly, the Utah Jazz took Ace Bailey at No. 5. There was speculation over Brooklyn trading up to get the latter Scarlet Knight all week, but ESPN’s Jonathan Givony stated he’s in Utah to stay.

  • June 24, 6:49 PM ET: The Nets landed Terance Mann and the 22nd pick in the 2025 NBA Draft for helping to facility a three-team deal that sent Kristaps Porzingis to the Atlanta Hawks for Georges Niang. The two other teams also exchanged second rounders. The trade can’t become official till July 6, raising possibility deal could be expanded. Story here.
