This year’s NBA trade deadline featured two blockbuster trades involving the Nets.
It all started on Monday when the Nets dealt Kyrie Irving to the Mavericks. Three days later, the franchise sent Kevin Durant to the Suns.
According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, this saga involving Irving and Durant might not be over yet. That’s because the former is set to be a free agent this summer.
“If you think this is over, it ain’t over,” Windhorst said. “Kyrie really was interested in being in Phoenix, so just start thinking about that.”
At this point, NBA fans are tired of hearing about Irving and Durant’s demands. They’ve been calling the shots for the past few years now.

It’ll be fascinating to see how the rest of this NBA season plays out.
The Mavericks are hopeful Irving will fit alongside Luka Doncic, whereas the Suns are facing “championship or bust” expectations now that Durant is on their roster.
