The Nets are back on another long winning streak, winning game after game. On Wednesday night against the Pacers, it seemed like the odds were stacked up against Brooklyn for once – but then James Harden posted a triple-double in a come-from-behind win. The Nets won their sixth consecutive game and now they have the opportunity to extend the streak to seven on Friday against the Orlando Magic.
Wednesday night’s win along with the Sixers’ loss to the Milwaukee Bucks now has Brooklyn and Philadelphia tied at the top of the Eastern Conference. When asked about whether or not tying the Philadelphia 76ers at the top of the East gives the team more pressure now or if it gives the team more motivation to continue this hot run, Joe Harris said the team isn’t thinking about it.
“To be honest I don’t think we really think about that too much. We’re really just pretty simply just trying to come out and win every single night. Regardless of all the external things.”
Brooklyn’s sharpshooter made it clear. They are taking no prisoners moving forward. This team wants to win every single game on the schedule no matter the circumstances. It doesn’t matter who’s playing, who’s not playing, and who is having a bad game. At the end of the day, the Nets are going to try and find a way to win.
