Brooklyn Nets wing Haywood Highsmith will miss at least eight weeks, as he continues to rehab from offseason knee surgery. Highsmith suffered swelling in his surgically repaired right knee. Brooklyn will now put Highsmith on a modified rehab program for the next two months.
The Nets acquired Highsmith from the Miami Heat earlier this offseason. Miami moved the talented wing in order to get themselves under the luxury tax line to open the season.
