The Brooklyn Nets have an important offseason ahead of them as they have to make enough changes to the roster to give themselves a better chance of making the playoffs next season. As Brooklyn moves through this offseason, they will have some money to spend in free-agency, but they have to make every penny count.
The point guard position has been one that has been in flux for the Nets ever since Kyrie Irving was traded to the Dallas Mavericks during the 2022-23 season. While Ben Simmons had been expected to be the playmaker for Brooklyn when he was acquired during the 2021-22 campaign, he has not been healthy enough for the franchise to rely on, unfortunately.
Since trading Irving, the Nets have had players like Simmons, Spencer Dinwiddie, Dennis Schroder, and Dennis Smith Jr. as the main options at the point guard spot. With that being said, here are five point guards that Brooklyn could target during free-agency this summer:
