Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks are hoping to finish off their first-round series against the Detroit Pistons this Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks staged a fourth-quarter comeback against the Pistons this past Sunday to take a 3-1 series lead. Brunson led his team with 32 points and 11 assists, but it was Karl-Anthony Towns who made two clutch shots in the final minutes of Game 4.
There’s no question Brunson and Towns will need to be at their best in order for the Knicks to win Game 5 at home. Of course, it’ll help that Tom Thibodeau’s squad will have home-court advantage.
Leading up to tipoff on Tuesday, a member of the Knicks City Dancers grabbed everyone’s attention on social media.
Nicolette Petriello, a rookie dancer for the Knicks, has been sharing playoff content on Instagram for her fans. She currently has more than 3,900 followers.
In May 2024, Petriello graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Dance.
Prior to the start of the 2024-25 season, Petriello shared a few photos of her in uniform along with this caption: “getting to do what i love with people i love makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
If we had to guess, there’ll be plenty of eyes on Petriello this evening.
Tipoff for Game 5 between the Knicks and Pistons is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
We’ll see if New York punches its ticket to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
