The New York Knicks’ win over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Cup Final averaged 3.07 million viewers on Amazon Prime Video.
That number represents a 3% increase from the Bucks-Thunder final on ABC last year. Audiences among viewers 18-34, 18-49, and 25-54 increased 51%, 55%, and 44% respectively for this year’s final.
The game peaked at 3.42 million viewers, delivering the largest Nielsen-measured NBA audience since Opening Night.
The entire NBA Cup knockout rounds averaged 1.54 million viewers overall, down 5% from last year.
