Karl-Anthony Towns has undergone treatment on his bruised left knee and to repair ligament damage on his left finger. Towns suffered both injuries during the New York Knicks’ run to the Eastern Conference finals.
Towns averaged 21.4 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 18 playoff games for the Knicks. Towns had a PER of 19.8, which ranks second for one of his playoff runs behind last season.
Towns is under contract for the next three seasons (with a player option for 2027-28) but is eligible to sign an extension during the offseason that could add another two years to his deal.
