Josh Hart: “Obviously, we’re a week and a half from the end of the season. The landscape of the team and the organization has obviously changed, especially with Thibs being gone. First, I want to give a shoutout to Tibs—especially for myself. He helped make me into the player I am. I had a lot of instability in the early part of my career, and he gave me that stability and opportunity to flourish as a player in the league—a starter in the league. I’ll always be forever grateful to him.”

When it comes to available coaches, longtime Villanova coach Jay Wright — who has long expressed a reluctance to make the leap to the NBA — and Cleveland Cavaliers assistant Johnnie Bryant quickly emerged as presumed likely candidates … emphasis on presumed. Wright is obviously close with the Knicks’ former Villanova trio of Brunson, Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges but, again, has repeatedly said that he does not have NBA coaching aspirations. -via marcstein.substack.com / June 4, 2025
