Jalen Brunson sprained his right ankle in the first quarter of the New York Knicks’ 112-101 loss to the Sacramento Kings and did not return to the game.
The Knicks did not have any updates on Brunson’s status after the loss.
Brunson, who missed two games earlier this season with a sprained right ankle, limped off the court with 7:01 remaining in the first quarter.
“We didn’t respond. We didn’t respond at all,” said Knicks coach Mike Brown about his team’s response after Brunson left the game.
The Knicks play the Warriors on Friday.
