Jalen Brunson has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 right ankle sprain and has been ruled out of the New York Knicks’ game on Friday against the Miami Heat. Brunson will be reevaluated daily to determine when he can return.
Brunson suffered the injury in the Knicks’ loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. Brunson was spotted leaving Madison Square Garden in a walking boot.
Brunson is averaging 28.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists this season.
