This Day in New York Sports: Yankees acquire Joe DiMaggio

On November 21, 1934, the New York Yankees traded four players and $25,000 in order to acquire Joe DiMaggio. Joltin’ Joe would go on to become not only one of the most prolific Yankees of all-time, but one of the most iconic ballplayers in the history of the game.
