Your Friday morning does of Mets and Major League Baseball news, notes, and links.
Meet the Mets
The Mets played a lifeless game as they were swept by the Braves last night in Atlanta, extending their losing streak to six games. Combined with the Phillies’ win over the Marlins, that leaves them in a tie for first place in the National League East and marks the second time this season they’ve let a five-game lead in the division evaporate.
