Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (31-44/9-2)
SYRACUSE 3, WORCESTER 1 (BOX)
Syracuse scored a pair on a Francisco Alvarez two-run homer- his fifth since being sent back down to Triple-A about two weeks ago- and held on to that lead to win their ninth game of the second half. The bullpen was solid all-around, with Dakota Hawkins allowing the Woo-Sox’s only run in the top of the fourth inning- which Jared Young quickly erased with a solo shot in the bottom of the fourth.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (45-22*/7-4)
BINGHAMTON 5, HARTFORD 4 (BOX)
Kodai Senga wasn’t particularly sharp in his first rehab start, allowing three runs over three-plus innings with six hits allowed, two walks, four strikeouts, and two wild pitches, but at least he was able to get on the mound and throw 68 pitches. Things were looking down for the Rumble Ponies, who trailed 4-0 as late as the fourth, but they rallied in the bottom of the inning to close the gap to 4-2, tied things up at 4 apiece in the seventh, and walked the game off on a Reyes Run courtesy of D’Andre Smith. The left fielder singled to start the inning off, stole second, moved to third on a sacrifice bunt, and then was able to come home on a wild pitch.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (46-20*/8-6)
HUDSON VALLEY 7, BROOKLYN 0 (BOX)
Not a great evening for Brooklyn. The team was shutout while allowing seven runs. Crazy thing is, going into the seventh inning, this game was a 0-0 tie. The Renegades got on the board in the seventh to take the lead and added to it with four more runs in the eighth and two more in the ninth. On the bright side, Jonathan Santucci had a great game, easily his best since getting drafted and signing with the organization last year. His start was a season-high in innings pitched and strikeouts.
