Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (31-44/8-2)
SYRACUSE 4, WORCHESTER 0 (BOX)
Syracuse blanked Worchester 4-0 thanks to five brilliant innings from Brandon Sproat. This is a huge bounce back outing for Sproat, who has struggled of late, but he struck out eight, walked only one batter, and yielded just two hits. Because Syracuse didn’t get to scoring until the sixth inning, in which they put up all four of their runs, the rehabbing Brooks Raley earned the win with a scoreless sixth inning in relief of Sproat. After grounding into a key double play earlier in the game, Gilberto Celestino redeemed himself with the key hit—a three-run homer that helped seal the deal for Syracuse.

Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (45-22*/6-4)
HARTFORD 4, BINGHAMTON 1 (BOX)
Despite striking out ten batters in 5 2⁄3 innings, Jonah Tong took the tough luck loss for Binghamton after giving up two early runs in the first. That was all Tong would give up in the outing, but the Ponies were held to just one run by Hartford. It was a rough day at the office for Carson Benge, who took an 0-fer, struck out twice, and grounded into a key double play.

Chris Suero and Jesus Baez both went deep for Brooklyn, as the Cyclones jumped out to a six-run lead in the first three innings. The Renegades tried to crawl their way back in the middle innings, but the Cyclones held on for the victory. Colin Houck had a big day at the plate for Brooklyn, falling a home run shy of a cycle and scoring three runs.

Single-A: St. Lucie Mets (34-31*/8-4)
ST. LUCIE 6, DAYTONA 2 (BOX)
A four-run second inning helped lift the St. Lucie Mets to a 6-2 victory, assisted by a key Tortugas fielding error that scored a run and sent Daytona’s starter, who had already walked the bases loaded and walked in a run, to an early shower. St. Lucie’s pitching staff was spotless over the final six innings of the game, allowing just two hits over that span.
