Catch up on all the Mets prospects in yesterday’s minor league action!
Triple-A: Syracuse Mets (31-44/13-5)
SYRACUSE 4, LEHIGH VALLEY 0 (BOX)
Francisco Alvarez might still be showing some troubling contact signs at Triple-A, but maybe it doesn’t matter. He homered for the third straight game and added two doubles to boot as he lead the Mets to a 4-0 win. David Stearns said that this demotion is not a short term assignment, that getting Alvarez right is critical; sure seems like things are on the right track. No comment on what that says about the hitting instruction at the major league level.

Roster Alert: Syracuse Mets activated RHP Austin Warren.
Double-A: Binghamton Rumble Ponies (45-22*/12-6)
ALTOONA 7, BINGHAMTON 5 (BOX)
D’Andre Smith fell a triple shy of the cycle, but it wasn’t enough to pick up an uncharacteristically poor day from Binghamton’s top prospects. Jett Williams, Jacob Reimer, and Ryan Clifford went a combined 2-for-11, and Brian. Meanwhile, Brian Metoyer coughed up four runs while recording one out. Tough combo to overcome.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones (46-20*/11-10)
WILMINGTON 4, BROOKLYN 1 (BOX)
Brooklyn continues to sputter in the second half. They managed only four hits, failed to capitalize on two errors by the Blue Rocks, and struggled on the mound as well. Hopefully things will pick up as some of the new arrivals settle in.

Single-A: St. Lucie Mets (34-31*/14-6)
ST. LUCIE 2, BRADENTON 0 (BOX)
Fantastic pitching performance here – four Mets combined for a one-hitter. Frank Elissalt – the Mets 19th round pick from 2024 – continues to look like a real prospect, something that can only be described as an absolute coup. That’s a good thing, since the offense only provided two runs courtesy of Simon Juan’s 6th homer of the year.
- SS Trey Snyder: 2-4, 2B
- RF Yonatan Henriquez: 0-4, K
- 1B Trace Willhoite: 0-4, 2 K
- DH Yohairo Cuevas: 0-4, 3 K
- 3B Kevin Villavicencio: 0-3, BB
- C Vincent Perozo: 1-3, BB
- 2B Nick Roselli: 1-2, R, BB
- CF Simon Juan: 1-3, R, HR (6), 2 RBI, K
- LF Willy Fanas: 0-3, 2 K
