Brooklyn continues to roll, as the win gave them the 1st Half Championship of the Northern Division of the South Atlantic League, securing a playoff spot for the dominant Cyclones.
They were actually losing this game 4-2, before coming back late to win it. Marco Vargas, who also drove in the first run of the game, pushed a run along to make it 4-3, and Chris Suero hit a three run home run to give them the 6-4 lead they would hold on to.

This game was very back and forth. Palm Beach went up 1-0 in the first, St. Lucie responded by taking a 2-1 lead in the second. Palm Beach responded right back, dropping four runs in the fifth to make it 5-2. The offense, led by Colin Houck and Trey Snyder, rallied and chipped away at the lead, eventually tying it in the sixth, which would hold all the way until the tenth. Palm Beach scratched two runs across in the first extra inning frame, and the Mets only responded with one, falling 7-6.
