Getting traded to the New York Knicks was "completely unexpected" for Karl-Anthony Towns, according to Tim Bontemps of ESPN. Towns was traded to the Knicks on Friday night in a deal involving Julius Randle going to the Wolves. Towns had arrived back in Minnesota to prepare for training camp next week.
